I noticed that in the background while you're writing in your candidate is a lost soul saying, "Excuse me, where do we go now?" How completely fitting. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that you edited that in.
In the caucus room, I wanted to see the part where there was a "free and open exchange of ideas" and people being "thoughtful and respectful" of each other. Did people follow this guidance during the discussion of candidates?
Did someone say "Do you remember the words" to the Pledge of Allegiance?
You know, I felt kind of funny sitting there pointing my camera at people during the actual discussion. But yes, the conversation was very calm and thoughtful and interesting. (Really!)It was a great experience.
Yes, the caucus leader woman said, "Do you remember the words?" And the guy next to her said something like, "We need a little kid to tell us."
I read a ton. I like to talk about and write about books. I love literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, and the occasional police procedural. I also like pigs and ice cream and smart conversation.

Oooh, how very existentialist. The caucus as re-enactment of Waiting for Godot...or Waiting for Guffman.
